Our Secluded Cottage & Piper Creek On A Frosty Winter Morning, 2016 !

Complete: Our rustic cottage (kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedroom) sleeps four and is fully furnished for comfort. An attached rustic bunkhouse, with its own bathroom, is available additionally and sleeps three. Full utilities in each.

Relax: Fall asleep to the gentle whisper of the adjacent creek and awaken to a beautiful sunrise over Dabob Bay. Whether you stay for a week or for a weekend, you will return home relaxed, with memories to last a lifetime.

Beach: One mile of private beach — launch kayaks, canoes or boats up to 18 feet; beach comb; swim; snorkel; scuba dive; and observe otters, seals and raccoons in their natural habitat.

Hiking: Hundreds of miles of fantastic alpine–to–shoreline trails await the hiking enthusiast in nearby Olympic National Park, Olympic National Forest and dozens of state, county and federal parklands.

Birdwatching: Birders are thrilled by the antics of soaring bald eagles and the sound of the osprey, diving from high above to capture their unsuspecting prey. The Marbled Murrelet, herons, loons, eagles, birds of prey, ducks and many song, upland, wading and shore birds live here during the year.

Shellfish: are at your door step! Hood Canal and Dabob Bay are noted for spot shrimp, crab and shellfish — found a stone's throw in front of the cottage. Several easy-access state beaches are nearby.

Salmon Fishing: Coho, King, Chum and Pink Salmon can be found in the waters of Dabob Bay, Hood Canal and many streams flowing from the Olympic Mountains. Fishing methods include trolling, mooching and fly fishing.

Trout Fishing: Spring and Summer mark the best Cutthroat Trout fly fishing in Hood Canal and Dabob Bay. Brook and Rainbow Trout frequent streams and rivers flowing from the nearby Olympic Mountains.
Steelhead Trout arrive in early winter, with good fishing from November to March.
